My first encounter with Trick Drums was in 2002 while opening a show for Supermint and The Gin Blossoms. I saw Randi Scott with the most amazing looking and sounding kit I had ever heard. I naturally had a barrage of questions for him.

He answered me with the craziest thing I have ever heard. “These shells are Aluminum!” Naturally my reaction was “this can not be true!”

Since then I have found everything I have been told about them to be true. They are the warmest most focused sounding drums I have ever heard compared to any kit I have ever played. Hands down the winner in the tone department. The finish options are beautiful, amazing, and unlimited. I also play the Trick Pro 1V bass drum pedal. I was definitely the first in line for this product. I own pedal # 11 off the production line, along with 2 Pro1V double pedals including the special issue double with the black tower. The engineering in this pedal is amazing. It is the fastest and the easiest pedal to play on the market.
