"I never thought an aluminum shell could sound as warm or rich and deep as wood! I've heard Trick's live, I've heard them in the studio and every other possible situation. I'll tell you what I HAVEN'T heard; any drum, ANY drum sound as good as Trick does in ALL the above situations. Whenever anyone hears what I'm up to in my studio, there's always a comment on how great the drums sound! (Especially other drummers!) I find them extremely easy to record, and because they're so pitch consistent, I'm not always fighting with one of the toms just not sounding like the others. Trick drums dynamic range is also invaluable in the studio, (Live, too!) If I need to "Whack" them, they respond with a pure tone. Played softly they still never loose that great Trick "sound!" I've played a lot of drums for a lot of years with a lot of famous and not-so-famous people and I have never been happier with a set of drums than I am with Trick! Thumbs Way Up!!!!"
