I've been fighting drums for almost 15 years and I've never encountered a
drum that could single-handedly defeat me with one stroke. 

  Seriously, I think these drums are the loudest and most resonant example of what drums are really supposed to sound like.  I also was skeptical of playing metal drums at first, but when I struck them... they struck back, and I fell in love.
