"Trick drums look and sound great!  Who would have thought that aluminum drums would have great tone, articulation and warmth?  I was amazed at the difference - especially when listening to recordings of rehearsals using a single PZM mic taped to the wall.   Furthermore, while at Gravity Studios in Chicago, IL - recording "Rebuild the Afterworld" for Perfect Red, the first playback of my TRICK drums in the control room blew the band away while blowing the fuse in the studio monitors. The band, producer and engineers were floored -
